After the Intro to Story-based Strategy (SBS) Training, participants leave energized and with a list of questions.

Not vague questions. Specific ones:

• “What tools can help me clarify my audience and build interventions that target them more effectively?”
• “How do I get my team to care about narrative — not just metrics?”
• “How do we break the mostly reactive organizing to visionary narrative strategy building?”

If you have similar questions and want to be in deeper reflection and learning together, join our in-person Story-based Strategy Advanced Training (AT)!

The AT is a 5-day deep-dive into Story-based Strategy concepts and tools. This training is for those who have completed other SBS trainings or have been in partnership with us and wish to grow their skills and leadership in both organizing and narrative strategy.

What will you learn:

• Tools to improve your current narrative strategy
• Frameworks to identify what\’s blocking your vision and imagination
• A way to facilitate this with your own team, rather than hiring an outside consultant

The SBS AT is an in-person experience that combines tool workshops, campaign simulations, relationship building, and practices of radical imagination to deepen understanding and build meaning.

• Day 1 — Connect with Story-based strategists from the US and around the world
• Day 2 — Learn deeper SBS theory and troubleshoot SBS Tools
• Day 3 — Campaign Simulations using SBS
• Day 4 — Case studies and Integrate SBS into your work
• Day 5 — SBS Q&A and Networking

Alumni of the SBS Advanced Trainings leave feeling capable of facilitating SBS tools within their own organizations or work, and formulating narrative strategies.

Depending on interest and needs this training may be facilitated bilingually, in Spanish and English, and provide simultaneous interpretation.
