Babay L. Angles

Pilipinx interdisciplinary performance artist, DJ, joy and rest practitioner, educator, cultural strategist, and community organizer. Holds degrees in Ethnic Studies and Urban Education with 15+ years in education, mental health, and grassroots organizing.

Carly King

A project manager with a background in healing justice, African diasporic narrative and community movement work, and multicultural affairs and higher education.

Diego Vergara

Passionate about communications role in social movements, with prior work reshaping how people think about safety.

Mariana Mendoza

An organizer and popular educator from justice and just transition work, focusing on defunding carceral systems and harm reduction practices in Los Angeles.

Meghan OHara

Brings passion for operations and finance as essential forms of care. Background in organizing around education and climate justice.

Rae Breaux

An organizer and trainer with over a decade developing intersectional strategies around race, class, gender, and climate crisis. She coordinates creative direct actions and works as a movement photographer.

Ruby Pinto

An organizer and narrative strategist focused on cultural strategies for liberation. Involved in prison/police abolition work and member of creative collectives.

Tihi Hayslett

A queer activist, writer, and storyteller involved with CSS since 2015. Previously worked as an online campaigner for the Working Families Party. Holds an MFA in Creative Writing and published a short story collection titled Dark Corners.
